Surgical Services

Mesa View Regional Hospital offers general and specialized surgical procedures. Many of these procedures are available on a same-day, outpatient basis.

Whether it’s a planned surgery or an emergency procedure, our experienced staff can tend to you in one of our two surgical suites.

Services include:

  • Endoscopy of the GI Tract- Allows a physician to see, assess and diagnose problems of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, colon (colonoscopy) and the bile duct
  • General Surgery- Abdominal, gall bladder, appendectomy, endoscopy, breast biopsies and laparoscopic procedures
  • Gynecology/Obstetrics- C-section and hysterectomy
  • Ophthalmology- Cataract extraction and capsulotomy
  • Orthopedic- Arthroscopic, carpal tunnel, knee, hip, shoulder, hand, foot, ankle, elbow and sports injuries
  • Orthopedic Spine- X stop placement and balloon kyphoplasty
  • Pain Management
  • Podiatry- Bunionectomy, hammer digits and heel spur
  • Total Joint Replacement Program- Total knee and total hip replacement
  • Urology- Bladder cancer, non-invasive kidney stone removal, prostate, sling, vasectomy and other urinary control procedures.

Please make sure to pre-register with Mesa View Regional Hospital within seven days of your surgery. This is the time to discuss hospital fees and insurance pre-authorization.

You may pre-register in the following ways:

  • By calling 702-345-4345 and asking for an admissions representative
  • In person, weekdays, from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.

If your surgeon requires pre-operative lab tests, he or she will give you a package to take to one of our registration desks. If you do require any testing, please allow at least two hours for this process.
