Mesa View Regional Hospital Welcomes New CEO Matt Lutz and Honors Retiring CEO Kelly Adam
Mesquite, NV (April 22, 2026)—Mesa View Regional Hospital is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Lutz as its new Chief Executive Officer, as longtime CEO Kelly Adams prepares to retire after five years of dedicated service. The two leaders will collaborate through May 1 for a seamless transition.
CEO Matt Lutz brings a proven record in hospital leadership and a passion for community health. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer of 169-bed HCA Florida Largo West Hospital, where he improved access to care and enhanced operational and financial performance. He also served on the Pinellas County Acute Care Committee and the City of Largo Affordable Housing Committee Advisory Board. Lutz holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
“I am excited to step into this role to serve the Mesquite community alongside the outstanding team at Mesa View Regional Hospital,” said Lutz. “I look forward to getting to know everyone and building on the strong foundation for future growth.”
Kelly Adams’ leadership has had a lasting impact on the broader Mesquite community. “Kelly has earned the trust and admiration of this community through his commitment to patient care, staff development, and regional healthcare leadership,” said Board Chair Gerri Chasko. “We are confident that Matt is the right leader to carry Kelly’s torch.”
Adams reflected on his time at the hospital. “It has been an honor to serve this hospital and community,” he said. “The relationships I have built here are something I will carry with me always.” Following his retirement, Adams and his wife Lynann will embark on a two-year mission trip to Australia.
A celebration honoring Adams and welcoming Lutz was held April 22 at Mesa View Regional Hospital.
