Mesa View Regional Hospital Hosts “Brake for Breakfast” Drive-Thru for Breast Cancer Awareness
Free Breakfast and Educational Resources Offered Oct. 1 to Promote Early Detection
MESQUITE, Nev. (Sept. 4, 2025)—Mesa View Regional Hospital will kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its first “Brake for Breakfast” event, a community initiative promoting early detection and prevention. The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 8 a.m. on the hospital campus, located at 1299 Bertha Howe Avenue, Mesquite, Nevada.
Participants will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with breakfast items, educational resources from the American Cancer Society, and information on scheduling a screening mammogram at Mesa View.
“This event is an opportunity to bring our community together and advocate for the prevention and early detection of breast cancer,” said Kelly Adams, CEO of Mesa View Regional Hospital. “We’re grateful for our partners and proud to support women in taking proactive steps for their health.”
Several community organizations and leaders will be in attendance, including Mesquite Fire Rescue, the Mesquite Police Department, and the Warrior Women of Mesquite.
Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women, and early detection through regular screenings significantly increases the chances of successful treatment. “Brake for Breakfast” empowers women with the knowledge and resources they need to take charge of their health.
